

In Victoria, there are 24 RoadSafe Community Road Safety Councils made up of volunteers who tackle
local road safety issues.
Membership often includes:
RoadSafe Community Road Safety Councils receive support from a Road Safety Coordinator and the RoadSafe
network is coordinated statewide by an executive of seven chairpersons, each representing the groups in
their region.
RoadSafe develops local community road safety initiatives that support State and Local
Government programs. These may target drink driving, speed, fatigue, older road users, young
drivers, pedestrian safety, bicycle safety, road safety for children, child restraint use, motorcyclist
safety and vehicle safety.
